Andrew A. Van Sickle

Attorney Andy Van Sickle received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  He then worked for the State of Wisconsin Legislature prior to attending Marquette Law School.  During law school, Andy interned for a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge.  In addition, while attending and subsequent to graduating from law school, Andy worked in the legal compliance department for a large bank in Milwaukee. In 1996 Andy relocated to Pulaski and began working for a private practice firm until 2007 when he and partner Jim Lewis formed the Law Firm of Lewis & Van Sickle. 

Andy is admitted to and practices in Federal, State, Appellate, Municipal and Tribal Courts.

James E. Lewis

Attorney Jim Lewis received his Bachelor Degree with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.  He then went on to the University of Wisconsin and earned his Law Degree in 1998.  Jim has appeared on behalf of his clients in 25 Wisconsin Counties and both Wisconsin Federal District Courts.  Although he has previously handled controversies in almost every area of the law, Jim currently concentrates his practice in the areas of Bankruptcy, Business Reorganization and Collections. Jim also practices in the areas of Business and Estate Planning and Family Law.  He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and The Brown County Bar Association. 

Community service and volunteer work are important to Jim Lewis.  Jim is a current director and past president of the Howard-Suamico Business and Professional Association.  He also serves on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling and My Brother’s Keeper, Inc.  Jim has counseled a number of local not-for-profit organizations and is also proud to be a member of the Howard-Suamico Lions Club.  Jim and his family belong to Saint John The Baptist Parish in Howard.  Jim enjoys helping people solve tough legal problems.

Michael R. Demerath

Attorney Michael R. Demerath grew up in Seymour, Wisconsin.  He graduated from St. Norbert College with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and also majored in economics.  After graduation he worked for a local law firm and then moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University College of Law.  During law school and after graduation, Attorney Demerath worked for the Hlustik, Huizenga, Williams & Vander Woude, Ltd. law firm where he handled business, real estate and tax matters for clients.  Attorney Demerath returned to Northeast Wisconsin in 2008.

He is licensed to practice law in both Wisconsin and Illinois.  He currently handles business law (from organization to dissolution), real estate (both residential and commercial), estate planning and bankruptcy matters.  Attorney Demerath also is a member of the St. Norbert College Alumni Board and the Howard-Suamico Optimists.

Amy J. Lux

Amy has worked as Andrew Van Sickle’s paralegal for more than seven years, she also serves as the firm’s book keeper.  Amy works with Attorney Van Sickle to assist clients in the areas of family law, probate administration, collections, real estate and business law.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay subsequent to graduating from Green Bay East High School.  Amy is now a proud resident of the Howard-Suamico area with her husband, John, and two teenage sons who attend Bay Port High School.

Rachel M. Girardi

Rachel has been working for Andy Van Sickle in the Pulaski office for the past seven years.  She attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College where she earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2003.  As a Bonduel High School Graduate, She is familiar with the Pulaski and surrounding area.  Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and four-wheeling with friends.

  Rachel works primarily the area of Bankruptcy and Financial Distress.  She also assists Andy in the areas of family law, real estate, estate planning, foreclosure and collections.

Bobbi Jo White

Bobbi Jo has worked as Jim Lewis’ paralegal for eight years. She earned a Bachelor of Art degree in both Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Bobbi Jo is very familiar with the Howard-Suamico area.  She grew up in Howard, attended Bay Port High School and has long-standing personal and professional relationships with business owners in this area. Bobbi Jo works with Jim to assist client’s in the areas of family law, probate, and estate planning, real estate and business law.
